Traffic congestion is expected on the east side of campus from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, for Ariana Grande’s The Honeymoon Tour concert that begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Save Mart Center (doors open at 6:30 p.m.).

Concert-goers as well as students/employees coming in for night classes or meetings should allow extra travel time due to the heavy volume of traffic around campus at that time. All motorists – arriving and departing — are advised to avoid Chestnut and Woodrow avenues.

For those coming into campus, approach from the south via Maple Avenue from Gettysburg Avenue, or from the west via Barstow Avenue.

Parking lot and roadway restrictions will continue to be in effect on the east side of campus impacting portions of Woodrow Avenue, Chestnut Avenue and Matoian Way. This affects access to parking lots P2 – P6.  Keats Avenue at Barton to Campus Drive (the portion in front of the health center) is closed to through access until Sept. 3. It is best to use Maple to access the south side of campus today.

All motorists should follow the direction of Fresno State Police Department personnel and roadway signage and equipment.
