Jake Soberal, CEO and co-founder of Bitwise Industries in Fresno, presents “Can Geeks Fix America’s Most Broken City? A Technology Revolution in Downtown Fresno” on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the University Business Center (Room 192). The talk is the first of two fall events planned for the Gazarian Real Estate Center Speaker Series. Soberal, a native of Fresno, was an intellectual property lawyer before starting Bitwise Industries in 2013. Bitwise proclaims to be “the mother ship of technological education collaboration and innovation in Fresno.” Soberal will relate the technology revolution to the real estate industry in Fresno. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m., followed by the presentation and a Q&A session from noon-1 p.m. The event is supported by Central Valley Community Bank.
