The “Dreamers and AB540 Workshop and Panel” will be from 5–6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 in the University Student Union room 308.
Panelists include Jesus Mendoza, founder of Instituto Ynamic; Walter Ramirez, Upward Bound counselor; and Raul Moreno, Dream Outreach Center coordinator. They work with students enrolled under the California Dream Act.
The free, public event is sponsored by Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Lobby Corps, a new project designed to educate and engage students regarding the legislative issues that affect their education.
