Fresno State’s Music Department presents the New Music Ensemble at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 at the Concert Hall in the Music building. The ensemble, which is made up of some of the top performers in the Fresno State Music Department, presents at least one concert each semester on campus. This concert will feature the works of living composers such as Oliver Caplan, Aaron I. Levin, Robin McLaughlin, Paul Richards and Paul West-Osterfield. The event will also feature the work of Fresno State music composition student Morgan Phillips. The event is a student-run chamber group dedicated to the performance and promotion of music by living composers. Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for Fresno State employees and seniors; and free for students. INFOTICKETS.
