A free Showcase of Excellence will be presented Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Table Mountain Rancheria Reading Room of the Madden Library by the Fresno State chapter of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. A wine and cheese social will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the program at 6 p.m. The event will include: music for violin and cello by Fresno State faculty Dr. Limor Toren-Immeran and Dr. Thomas Loewenheim; a presentation on the revival of the Chuckchansi language by faculty members Dr. Brian Agbayani and Dr. Chris Golston; and readings by author Armen Bacon from her latest book, “My Name is Armen: A Life in Column Inches.” All of the presenters are Phi Kappa Phi members.
