The Kremen School of Education and Human Development will celebrate the graduation of the first cohort of master’s students in the Multilingual Multicultural Education (MME) option from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 in the Kremen Education building, room 140. The MME program is designed to provide an advanced and specialized course of study in critical examination of theory, practice and policy in the education of linguistically and culturally diverse learners. The six graduate students began the program in spring 2014. Two new cohorts will be introduced at the reception. Faculty for the option includes Dr. Laura Alamillo, Dr. Juan Carlos González, Dr. Teresa Huerta and Dr. Tony Vang. Guests are asked to bring a small potluck dish to the reception.
