Motley Crue and Alice Cooper fans attending today’s 7 p.m. performance at the Save Mart Center (doors open at 6 p.m.) are advised to arrive early as traffic is expected to be heavier than usual.

There will also be two events at Campus Pointe: the opening of the Star Wars movie at Maya Cinemas and the Coach Rodney Terry Show at 6 p.m. at Pieology, where 2,000 free Fresno State basketball tickets will be handed out to fans for the Dec. 27 game. The first of 17 Star Wars screenings today will begin at 7 p.m.

At the concert promoters’ request, enhanced security measures will be deployed for the concert at the Save Mart Center, which will slow the process of getting into the arena. Concert fans should be aware that bags larger than 13 inches by 15 inches and cameras that do not fit in one’s pocket will not be permitted.

To expedite the entry process, patrons are also encouraged to visit www.savemartcenter.com to review the prohibited items list at bit.ly/SMCeventspolicies.
