The Fresno State Music Faculty Concert has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, April 23, in the Concert Hall of the Music Building. Presented by the Fresno State Music Department, the concert features lively and varied music including pieces by Alcón, Debussy, Menotti, Poulenc, Chopin and Lalliet. Among the music faculty performers will be Corey Whitehead, guitar; Tom Hiebert, horn; Hannah York and Brigid de Jong, voice; Thomas Loewenheim, cello; Larry Gardner, bassoon; and Rachael Aldrich, oboe. Collaborative pianists Hatem Nadim and Lenore Voth Hiebert will present piano performances. Tickets for the event, originally set for Jan. 23, are $20 general, $15 faculty/staff and $10 seniors/students. Proceeds from this annual event support student music scholarships.
