Ash Wednesday mass at Fresno State will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the Satellite Student Union followed by a light lunch outside — lentil soup, artisan bread and bottled water.
The Rev. Msgr. Raymond Dreiling, vicar general for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno, will officiate the campus celebration that marks the beginning of the Season of Lent.
Sponsored by the Newman Catholic Student Association of Fresno State (NCSA) and the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, the service for faculty, staff and alumni is also open to the public.
The lunch will be hosted by Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro and his wife Mary.
Day parking permits are available for $3 at dispensers. (See campus map for nearest parking and dispensers).
