The College of Health and Human Services presents its first “Live Well Lecture,” featuring authors of the book “Rebound,” Karl Johnson and Fresno State alumna Samantha Bauer, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Fresno State’s North Gym 118. “Rebound” tells the comeback story of Johnson, who found himself living on the streets after serving 11 years in state prison for selling cocaine. He now resides in Fresno and owns his own shoe shine business. The co-authors will hold a book discussion and signing. Copies of “Rebound” will be available for $20, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting student success initiatives within the College of Health and Human Services.
