A memorial bench has been installed on campus in memory of Molly Taylor Griffin, the 2014 School of Nursing alumna who died in a car accident a year ago from Sunday. Applications are due by Sunday, Feb. 28, for the Molly Taylor Griffin Nursing Honors Scholarship. Junior or senior nursing students in the College of Health and Human Services’ Honors Program, who have a 3.5 GPA or above, will have preference. Griffin’s family created the scholarship soon after she died in a car accident on Feb. 21, 2015. The memorial bench was recently installed outside of McLane Hall in Griffin’s honor. INFO.
