Engineering academy Feb. 27 features Tiny House; construction to begin

Engineering student Thomas Daily from Fresno State’s Tiny House Project will talk to nearly 60 students (grades 3-8) from the “Explore Engineering Saturday Academy” at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Feb 26 Engineering West building gate (northwest corner of Jackson and San Ramon Avenues from Barstow). Daily, a Lyles College of Engineering construction management senior, serves as treasurer and service manager for the project. He will tour the students through the original tiny house. Construction will officially begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29 inside the Engineering West building gate.
