More than 2,700 incoming freshman and transfer students are expected on the Fresno State campus from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the University’s annual Preview Day.

The future students will have a chance to meet faculty, learn about student services and tour campus facilities.

A variety of activities, workshops and speakers will give future students a glance at what lies ahead when they report for classes in the fall, said Phong Yang, director of the new Undergraduate Student Recruitment office.

A student clubs fair will provide information about the benefits of club programs and services.

Preview Day participants will also celebrate mascot Victor E. Bulldog III’s first birthday “paw-ty,” held the same day from 10 a.m. – noon. To conclude his birthday celebration, the live mascot will saunter over to the Free Speech Area north of the Henry Madden Library at 12:30 p.m. for photo opportunities with Preview Day students and their families.

The event will be promoted on social medal with #FSpreviewday. Parking is free on weekends.
