Volunteers ages 40-69 are sought by students in the Doctor of Physical Program to help test a new state-of-the-art Bertec balance machine now through May 15. The machine uses virtual reality and optokinetics to test an individual’s posture, control and balance. Simulated scenes, such as a grocery store, hallway and home, are used to test balance. The free test is 45 minutes and healthy adults are needed (without any history of major injuries, head trauma, inner-ear dysfunction or diabetes). INFO: Carolyn Bentley at firstname.lastname@example.org or Christian Lopez at email@example.com or see bit.ly/FSbalancetestPT.
