FSPD campus traffic advisory for Garth Brooks, Bulldogs game

The Fresno State Police Department issued this Campus Traffic Advisory today for the four Garth Brooks concerts this weekend in the Save Mart Center, as well as the Bulldogs football game in Bulldog Stadium at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

CAMPUS TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Sept. 23-25, 2016

Due to the Garth Brooks concerts (Friday – Sunday) at the Save Mart Center and Saturday football game, please plan for extra travel time when coming to or leaving campus.

Parking lot and roadway restrictions will be in effect on the east side of campus impacting portions of Woodrow Avenue, Chestnut Avenue and Matoian Way. Access to parking lots P1 – P6 will be impacted by event conditions.

Traffic on campus and surrounding areas is expected to be heavy.

Friday, Sept.  23, beginning at 3 p.m.:
Students using Save Mart Center overflow parking are encouraged to exit by 3 P.M.
It is recommended you enter/exit campus from the south via Maple and Barton Avenues or from the west via Barstow Avenue.

Saturday, Sept.24, beginning at 9:30 a.m.:
Parking Lots: Access to parking lots P1-P6 will be impacted by event conditions.

Barstow Avenue will be one-way only (westbound) between Woodrow and Cedar Avenues. Students and employees exiting campus via Barstow Avenue west of Woodrow Avenue will be directed towards Cedar Avenue.

Woodrow Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic between Barstow Avenue and Shaw Avenue. Students and employees parked on the east side of campus are encouraged to exit east on Matoian Way towards Chestnut Avenue.

Students and employees parked on the south side of campus are encouraged to exit via Maple and Barton Avenues.

Sunday, Sept.25, beginning at 3 p.m.  
Traffic on campus and surrounding areas is expected to be heavy. Access to parking lots P1 – P6 will be impacted by event conditions.

Please follow the direction of Fresno State Police Department personnel and roadway signage and equipment.
