Nursing health screenings at Exeter’s Food Day event Oct. 22

Students from Fresno State’s California Nursing Students’ Association will provide free health screenings and health education at FoodLink Tulare County’s Food Day event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at FoodLink’s new distribution warehouse (611 2nd St., Exeter). The annual event serves as a national celebration for healthy, affordable and sustainable food for all and will feature cooking samples, gardening workshops, nutrition information, in addition to health screenings.
