Fresno State’s CineCulture film series presents “Imminent Threat” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at the Unitarian Universalist church of Fresno, 2672 E. Alluvial Ave. (between Willow and Chestnut). Directed by Janek Abors,  the unrated, 73-minute film documents the War on Terror’s impact on civil liberties, as well as the potential coalition that may form between the progressive left and libertarian right. Fresno State alumna Jillian Barba is one of the film’s executive producers. Co-sponsors of the event are the Department of Sociology, Sociology Club and the Social Justice Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fresno.
