The Fresno State School of Nursing Community Health Mobile Unit will stop at Falcon Court- Turning Point in Fresno (4415 N. Clarke St) from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, to provide free health services to the community. Residents can receive diabetes and blood pressure screenings, plus health assessments, education and referrals. Free flu shots, for ages 4 and up, are available and limited to the first 50 individuals. The unit, coordinated by Fresno State nursing faculty and students, will travel to various rural communities in Fresno County this year, offering free health services to those who do not have readily available access to health care.
