This week on Fresno State Focus, a public affairs program produced by media, communication and journalism students, anchors Mary Kate Paquette of Bakersfield and Juan Avila of Porterville speak with a Fresno State student involved in the Peach Blossom Festival that hosts elementary students from around the Valley this week (March 9 and 10). The Peach Blossom Festival is presented by Fresno State’s Department of Communication. The show also features an inside look at the Fresno State rodeo team, as sports anchor Geraldine Gurrola of Three Rocks sits down with senior team member Ryan Smith. This episode looks at Kid’s Day and how Fresno State students were involved. Viewers also learn how the recent string of storms is impacting Valley farmers. The show airs at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays during the semester on Comcast Channel 94 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 and is also streamed live on CMAC.TV Education Channel and on the Fresno State Focus TV YouTube channel.
