Graduate students from the Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies will provide free hearing tests to the public from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the California Telephone Access Program service center (7525 N. Cedar Ave, Suite 115). After having their hearing assessed, qualified individuals can meet with trained staff who will recommend the phone that best fits the clients’ needs, as well as provide training on how to use their California phone. The program offers 60 types of specialized California phones and devices for individuals who have disabilities that affect their communication.
