Diana Giraldo, Collegian editor-in-chief, will lead a delegation of student journalists to accept the proclamation at 8:30 a.m. Thursday (April 6) at City Hall in downtown Fresno (2600 Fresno St.). This marks the second consecutive year the Collegian was honored by Councilmember Paul Caprioglio.

This year, the newspaper won 18 awards, including best newspaper inside page/spread design, best sales promotional material and best headline portfolio. Also this year, the Collegian took home the most awards for Fresno State since 2009.
