The Journey to Success Conference will from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, April 24, in the North Gym (Room118). The conference, part of the CSU Asian American and Pacific Islander Initiative, is intended to help Asian American high school students prepare for college. Students from Fresno Unified, Clovis Unified and Sanger High School are expected to attend. James Vang , co–founder of Hmong Roots and operational excellence manager with Genentech Pharmaceutical Company, will be the keynote speaker. The event will also feature workshops on career exploration, college preparation, financial aid and leadership. Students can register with their teachers or counselors.
