Jewish Studies lecture April 19: ‘North African Jews and Holocaust’

Dr. Alma Heckman, professor of History and Jewish Studies at UC Santa Cruz, will discuss “North African Jews and the Holocaust” at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 in the Henry Madden Library (Room 3212) for the next installment of the Jewish Studies Lecture Series. Heckman’s research focuses on modern Jewish history, North African history, French empire and the history of social movements.
