Fresno State’s Intercollegiate Mock Trial Program will compete in the Mock Trial National Championship Finals April 21-23 in Los Angeles, where the memory of Harvey Wallace, cofounder of the University’s first mock trial program and former chair of the Criminology Department, will be honored by the American Mock Trial Association. One of the two divisions of teams at the national finals to be held at the Los Angeles courthouse will be named after Wallace. Criminology professor Hollianne Marshall will share Wallace’s memory during the opening ceremony of the event. Wallace, a decorated Marine veteran who served as chair of the Criminology Department from 1997 to 2003, was a prolific textbook author and helped found the University’s mock trial program.
