This week on Fresno State Focus, a public affairs program produced by students in the Department of Media, Communication and Journalism, anchor Jerry Gomez of Hanford features Leena Mendoza, an adjunct professor at Fresno City College, and her work building tomorrow’s leaders at an Educational Opportunity Program workshop. Anchor Mary Kate Paquette of Bakersfield talks with Richard Halleck, whose love for baseball is a way of life. Reporter Courtney Rodgers of Clovis explores Valley Lahvosh Bakery and its ties to another part of the world. Finally, Edmer Archila of Mendota goes behind the scenes of Fresno State Focus, capturing the reflections of people who make the show possible. The show airs at 4 p.m. Wednesdays during the semester on Comcast Channel 94 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. It also streams live on CMAC TV Education Channel and on the Fresno State Focus TV YouTube channel.
