Tickets for multiple Grammy award winner Janet Jackson’s performance at the Save Mart Center at Fresno State next fall go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5.

The music icon’s Fresno show on Sept. 24 is just one of 56 stops Jackson will make on her “State of the World” tour, which kicks off Sept. 7 in Lafayette, Louisiana. The tour is produced by Live Nation.

“State of the World” marks Jackson’s first tour since her sold out 2015 “Unbreakable” tour and the birth of her first child in January of 2017.

Jackson has received accolades as an actress, including the NAACP Best Supporting Actor award. She also is a published author, dancer, businessperson and philanthropist.
