Fresno State Flags posted at half-staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day May 15.
Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro has ordered that University flags be flown at half staff Monday, May 15, from sunrise to sunset in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
May 15-21 is National Police Week.
The University community extends its gratitude and appreciation for the service provided by the officers and staff of the Fresno State Police Department, as well as law enforcement forces throughout the nation.
Also, the Larry C. Shehadey Clock Tower at the Save Mart Center at Fresno State will be lit in blue May 15 through 18, in support of the University police and all local law enforcement for National Police Week. The tower lighting tribute is in partnership with the Fresno Police Chaplaincy.
