Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations continue with off-campus events, including a tribute to Selena from 7 to 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22, at the Plaza Paz in downtown Fresno (1630 Van Ness Ave.) The tribute includes live music, food trucks and art galleries. XIX Guelagetza 2017 will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 24, at Calwa Park in southeast Fresno (4545 E. Church Ave.), to celebrate “La Guelaguetza,” a cultural festival that is part of the “Oaxaqueños” heritage. The celebration includes cultural music and dances, cultural arts, food and more.
