Fresno State flags lowered for Las Vegas victims

Fresno State has lowered the University’s flags to half- staff in memory of the victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas Oct. 1. President Joseph I. Castro issued this statement:

“The Fresno State community joins the world in mourning the tragic event that unfolded last night in Las Vegas. Our deepest sympathies go out to the many families of innocent people who have been impacted by this senseless act of violence. Per the national order announced this morning, the University’s flags have been lowered to half-staff until sunset Oct. 6.
