The Fresno County Preterm Birth Initiative will host a free community conversation from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the African American Historical and Cultural Museum (1857 Fulton St.). Attendees will learn about the work of the 10-year initiative, including its workgroups, intervention strategies, parents’ council and the impact of cultural and racial integration. Complimentary food, drinks and music will be provided. This is part of a series of community conversations and open forums the Preterm Birth Initiative will facilitate throughout the year to provide progress and updates to the community.
