‘Health on Wheels’ makes stop in Clovis March 17

Nursing students from Fresno State’s California Nursing Students’ Association will be joined by the Fresno State Diabetes Coalition and athletic training students to provide “Health on Wheels” at Faith Community Church of the Nazarene (430 Peach Ave.) from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 17. The event is in partnership with the Fresno State School of Nursing’s Community Health Mobile Unit, which provides access to affordable health care for Central Valley communities, while also providing hands-on training for students in the allied health fields. Residents can receive free immunizations, diabetes and blood pressure screenings and health assessments, as well as information on mental health and lifestyle education. INFO: Dr. Kathleen Rindahl at krindahl@csufresno.edu.
