Fresno State to host over 400 high school counselors

Fresno State will host the CSU High School Counselor Conference for the Central Valley Region at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District (808 Fourth St., Clovis). The conference is for high school counselors and educational personnel in attendance. Counselors will receive updates from the California State University Chancellor’s Office on initiatives, admissions, academic preparation, financial aid and student services for the upcoming academic year. In addition, representatives from all 23 CSU campuses will be on hand to present about their campus and take part in the college resource fair. The conference is hosted every year with all the regional campuses in the central region: Fresno State, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California State University, Bakersfield and California State University, Stanislaus.
