Fresno State flags lowered to half-staff for Pittsburgh synagogue shooting victims

Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro has directed the University’s flags be lowered to half-staff in memory of the victims from Saturday’s shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The flags at the Save Mart Center, the Veterans Memorial Monument (Thomas Building Rose Garden), the North Gym and athletic venues on campus are now at half-staff until sunset daily through Wednesday, Oct. 31, per the White House proclamation on Oct. 27.
