For its 10 year anniversary, the Fresno State Opera Theatre will perform a compilation of favorite scenes at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in the Wahlberg Recital Hall. Among the scenes performed is a world premiere from assistant professor in music composition Dr. Kenneth Froelich’s newest opera “The State of Jefferson.” Other scenes include “Cosí fan tutti” and “Die Zauberflöte” by Mozart, “Summer and Smoke” by Lee Hobby, “Edges” by Pasek,“Paul Candide” by Bernstein, and “Susannah” by Carlisle Floyd.
