Film director Margarita Cadenas will lead a discussion following the CineCulture showing of “Women of the Venezuelan Chaos” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in the Peters Education Center Auditorium. Embodying strength and stoicism, five Venezuelan women from diverse backgrounds draw a portrait of their country as it suffers under the worst social, economic and political crisis in its history.

The film is presented in Spanish with English subtitles. The screening is sponsored by the Center for Creativity and the Arts, the French Program, the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, and the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies.

Parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays. CineCulture is a film series provided as a service to Fresno State students, faculty, staff and the community.
