The Fresno State Guitar Festival will consist of two recitals.  George Sakellariou will perform at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, followed by Thomas Patterson at 8 p.m., in the Wahlberg Recital Hall. The festival will also include two free master classes taught by the featured artists beginning with Patterson at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the Music Building (Room M181), and Sakellariou at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the Music Building (Room M127).

Patterson leads the Bolton Guitar Studies Program at the University of Arizona, which is known for being among the top guitar programs in the nation. Sakellariou is the former chairman of the Guitar Department at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has performed in concert halls around the world. Tickets for the Sakellariou and Patterson recitals are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students, faculty and staff.
