Lyles College of Engineering’s annual Engineering and Construction Management Summer Camps at Fresno State will begin Monday and run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 24 through 28 for ninth and 12th grade. The camps, held on campus and the E.D.G.E. Challenge Ropes Course, will also include a field trip on Thursday, June 27, to Betts Company – a manufacturer and supplier of springs and heavy-duty truck parts and Total Concept Enterprises, Inc – a CNC,  milling services and hardware distributor in Fresno.

Michael May, president and chief operations officer of ADCO Manufacturing in Sanger will be a guest speaker. Additional camp experiences will include hands-on activities combined with academic lectures in energy, robotics, and computer and machine design.

Students will also learn about the fields of construction management, civil, computer, electrical, geomatics and mechanical engineering.
