The Department of Music at California State University, Fresno presents the 5th Annual

Wind Ensemble Concerto Concert at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Paul Shaghoian.

The Wind Ensemble will perform Yosemite Autumn by Mark Camphouse; Concertino for Three Brass by Floyd Werle; Ballade by Alfred Reed; Carnival of Venice by Guilio Briccialdi and Concerto for Trumpet by Alexander Artunian. Featured soloists include Stephen Clements (trumpet), Bryan Raya (trombone), Chris Whiteman (tuba), Christine Reza (alto saxophone), Emily Willingham (flute) and Rob Morgan (trumpet)

The Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Lawrence Sutherland, faculty at the Music Department.

Admission is $6 for general audience, $5 for faculty, staff and seniors and $4 for students. Tickets may be purchased in the Music Department Office, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or at the Box Office beginning one hour prior to the concert start time.
