The spring 2006 Poetry Jam is under way on the first Wednesday of every month at the California State University, Fresno Coffeehouse/Pub, beginning at 7 p.m.
The poetry jam is held in an open microphone format and is open to both beginner and experienced poets. Interested people are welcome to attend and express themselves with words, songs or dance.
The monthly programs are sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center, the Women’s Alliance, University Student Union, the Diversity Awareness Program and Associated Students.
