High school graduations at the Save Mart Center on Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, will bring congestion and traffic issues to the east side of the Fresno State campus.
Ceremonies are scheduled at 2, 5 and 8 p.m. each of those days.
Because Chestnut Avenue is closed.for improvements, attendees are reminded to allow extra time for heavy traffic. Commuters using Shaw and Barstow avenues may wish to avoid those streets.
University parking restrictions are enforced during the summer. Event parking is $5. Parking is available in the Save Mart Center north and east lots, and in university Lots A, J and C.
The lot west of the Save Mart Center, Lot V, is closed for construction of solar parking structures.
