Battling bad air, bad weather and bad traffic could be a thing of the past for bicyclists at California State University, Fresno.

The arrival Wednesday, Aug. 27, of a Les Mills RPMTM indoor cycling program at the Student Recreation Center will allow students, faculty and staff who are cyclists to exercise on a bike without going outdoors. Participants ride stationary bikes through a series of music tracks, led by an instructor. By increasing or reducing the resistance setting on their bikes and changing their riding position, participants simulate the effects of racing down mountainsides, riding over rolling hills or coasting along country roads.

RPM joins four other Les Mills programs offered at the Student Recreation Center that range from a blend of yoga, tai chi and pilates to dance cardio.
