State-mandated furlough days and one holiday will close the entire California State University, Fresno campus from Monday, March 29 through Monday, April 5, with the exception of the Student Health Center.

Classes will resume and offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 6.

The closure coincides with Spring Break for students. Normally, administrative offices remain open. This year, however, furloughs resulting from budget cuts due to decreased state funding prompted the decision to close all academic and administration offices, including the Henry Madden Library.

Wednesday, March 31, is a state holiday for Chavez Day, when the campus traditionally is closed.

The Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market will maintain regular hours (8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday), but will be closed on April 4 for Easter.

The University Police Department will be open. In the event of an emergency, call 559.278.8400.
