Philip Levine, the Fresno State professor emeritus of English, Pulitzer Prize winner and poet laureate of the United States, is featured in a short spot running on ValleyPBS (KVPT, Channel 18), Fresno’s PBS affiliate.
Levine, who arrived on campus in 1958, retired from Fresno State in 1992. His “The Simple Truth” was the 1995 Pulitzer winner in poetry and he has won two National Book Awards (1980 and 1991).
