Beginning in August, Fresno State will offer a new online certificate program in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Studies will include practical training in spatial analysis, remote sensing, geovisualization, geocomputation, cognition and computer science. The program is led by Dr. Zhi (Luke) Wang, an associate professor of earth and environmental sciences at Fresno State, through the Division of Continuing and Global Education.
