The Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning at Fresno State is partnering with First Book Fresno and Every Neighborhood Partnership for a fundraising effort through Dec. 15 to provide books to underprivileged children in the El Dorado Park and Vinland neighborhoods. Donations of any amount will be accepted and are tax-deductible with receipts available upon request. All proceeds will be used to purchase books. Make checks payable to “Fresno First Books,” and mail to the Richter Center, 5241 N. Maple, M/S TA 120, Fresno, CA 93740 by Dec.15 to be included in the project.
