Jordan College Dean Boyer reappointed to national USDA board

Dr. Charles Boyer, dean of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology at Fresno State, has been reappointed to the National Agriculture Research, Extension, Education and Economics Advisory Board of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Boyer, who currently serves on the board’s executive committee, was first appointed to the board in 2010 and has been reappointed by Tom Vilsack, USDA secretary. The board is comprised of 25 members from various areas of U.S. agriculture and serves to advise the Secretary of Agriculture.
