University High School, a charter school on the Fresno State campus, was ranked the 42nd best high school in the nation and seventh best in California by U.S. News and World Report. The magazine’s annual ranking is based on data from nearly 22,000 high schools. Last year the magazine ranked University High 46th in the nation.
