The Dr. Pete Mehas Memorial Grant, a new fund of $75,000 for technology or equipment that will help students at Fresno State, was approved by the Associated Students Inc. last week. Fresno State academic departments can apply for a maximum $5,000 grant through March 7. It is named for the late Fresno State alumnus who was a member of the California State University Board of Trustees when he died in September at age 73.
