Fresno State junior Brittany Hitchcock of Chowchilla and senior Beatriz Rodriguez of Clovis received national recognition from the Alpha Zeta Fraternity at the National Agricultural Leadership Conference in Ames, Iowa on March 29. They were among a delegation representing the campus chapter, Cal-Epsilon, an honors fraternity in Fresno State’s Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Hitchcock, an Agricultural Education major with an emphasis in Animal Science, was recognized as the national organization’s Censor of the Year for educating and guiding new and prospective members with the Jordan College. Rodriguez, an Agricultural Education major with an emphasis in Plant Science, was recognized as Chronicler of the Year for photographing events, compiling photos into an annual scrapbook and creating the chapter’s newsletter.
