Tonji University of China ranked as the leading institution in this year’s Mid-Pacific Student Conference held at Fresno State from April 3-5. University of Pacific finished second and San Jose State University and California State University, Sacramento tied for third. Teams from 15 colleges throughout the Northwest United States and some international universities competed in steel bridge, water treatment and geo-challenge contests on campus and the concrete canoe competition at Millerton Lake.
